Fakhar Imam joins Jaago Tehreek

 Former Speaker National Assembly Syed Fakhar Imam and Istaqlal Party President Manzoor Gillani joined Jaago Tehreek on Tuesday, a campaign against the corrupt, dual nationality holders and inactive politicians, who could not deliver as they promised during their public meetings at the time of elections and caused heavy financial losses to Pakistan.
Jaago Tehreek campaign had been initiated by former PPP Minister Qayyum Nizami, with the participation and support of former Secretary Foreign Affairs Shamshad Ahmed Khan, Agricultural Scientist Dr Muhammad Sadiq, Member Privatisation Commission Eng. Iftikharul Haq, Secretary General, Pakistan Visionary Forum Zubair Sheikh and Eng. Abdul Majeed Khan. According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, Jaago Tehreek was going to educate the public at large before the next general elections through seminars and peaceful demonstrations. Besides, honest and patriotic political leaders will be invited to join Jaago Tehreek to make it more effective.
The main objectives of Jaago Tehreek were to eliminate corrupt, dual nationality holders and non performers from their access to the parliament of Pakistan in the forthcoming elections.
